My name is Michelle. I’m a black, trans woman living in the middle of rural Virginia. Visibility is rarely an option for me. But online at least, I get to be myself. And since I am visible here, I want to do something worthwhile with my visibility. Otherwise, what is it for?
My girlfriends, two people whom I love more than words can express, have been in a dire living situation the last few months. They’re stuck in a toxic environment with barely enough money to get by. We’ve been trying to raise donations to get them into a new home where they will be safer, healthier, and happier.
The longer it takes for them to find a new home, the harder it will be for us to make the move. Every month they have to stay in their current apartment is chipping away at their savings. If we can reach our donation goal on Youcaring by April 15th, then we’ll have everything we need to make this a reality. Please boost, and please donate if you can.
